Rep Power: 296 epic motoring feed back?
Hey guys,
my headgasket on my gsr is on its way out. I was planing for turbo, so i figured with the head open, i might as well upgrade some internals.
I have a mechanic, but i prefer to go to a honda tuner show to do internals.
I heard some good things about epic motoring in wilimington by shawn church's shop.
I just wanted to know you guys opinions or if you know any other good engine build shops.

SC is getting better and better each year. Being hanging out with the car club alot, done a few trips to leguna seca. We got free tickets to last sundays le mans race @ leguna seca. It was awesome.
I'll be back down for thanksgiving. I'm busy the friday after, buttonwillow track day. But I'm down to hang on the weekend. We should hit up some of the roads around my house.
Hows life down there?
Here are some pics from this past sunday.

i'm down shannon. let me know your schedule for the weekend. i forgot where you live too. i'm out by cerritos off the 605.
Anyways, i spoke to Kevin from epic motoring. He seems like a really knowledge able guy, especially with hondas. I gotta think over my build, but he was able to give me great feeb back on my build and power goals.

anyways, i got my car back today. My car runs better then when it was new. I have perfect compression all around and i can feel a lot more of my lower end power.
My car actually idles really quiet now, i kinda miss the high reving idle. oh well.
Then again i found out i was driving with bent valves. Weird thing is that even with bent valves i was still getting 23-25mpg.
I upgraded some parts with stainless steel valves, titanium spring and retainers. Basically small valve train stuff. I'm probably going to sleeve the block once i have my turbo kit and do it all at once.
Anyways for future use, Kevin at epic motoring is a great guy and knows his stuff about hondas. He owns three hondas himself and personally works on.
Just tell him Mike with the white integra sent you..lol.
