Unhappy bad luck happens again

ok. so here i was cruising on I-5 down south. so im passing some cars and suddenly i see a patrol car flashing its lights behind me and i was like... damn man.. never got pulled over before. there was a female officer that came up and told me i was doing roughly 80 in 65. i give her my license and registration. then pissed off at myself cuz i liked to keep my record clean. anyways, i tell her that im stationed in lemoore and stuff and that i'm driving down to LA to see my family. she smiled and told me that she wont cite me for speeding but the smoked taillights and the windshield strip got to go + i'll need to install the damn front license plate. i've asked her questions cuz i didnt know whats next. and she told me that all i gotta do is show up at the CHP and pay like $10 to dismiss the case, and ofcourse imma have to put my stock tails and 'install' the license plate. i really dont want to get rid of the windshield strip cuz it protects my eyes from the sun glare. i'll have to talk to them about that. maybe i can just trim it or something. anyways, she was nice and stuff. im glad i wont be fined for speeding or anything else. i thought it'd be worse than that. what u guys think? any advices before i go to CHP office?

You can leave the tint strip on your windshield as long as it is less than 6". As far as the tinted tails, they are legal to have as long as you leave the red reflector part showing. The front plate, yeah, ur supposed to have it on, but who really does? I know I dont.

my deadline is in march. its interesting how she said she wont cite me on speeding even though she wrote my speed (80mph) and the limit (65mph) on the ticket. do u guys think i'll get hammered when i go to take care of this?

you lucky son-of-a-b*tch....
they NEVER let me go.

yeah the strip you can just trim. its like 4-6" or something. the front plate i would just put on, for me its not worth getting a ticket over.

When I was pulled over for speeding and let go with only a fix-it ticket, the officer still wrote my speed on the ticket but all I had to pay was the $10 fee for the fix-it.

Don't go to court because they charge you for the inspection on top of the $10.
If you go to a CHP station, they will inspect it for free.

You will still have a clean record if you get those issues taken care of. I have gotten many fix-it's and my record is still clean, don't worry.

Where can I find a CHP station? haha

yeah. i think she liked me though lol. regarding the doctor: i will have to pay one a visit lol. anyways, if that wont work i will have to trim it from 10" to 6" (the strip has 5% visibility).
