FS: Wheel boot (vehicle immobilizer)
This is the same device the city puts on cars that park illegally. It sells for more than $400 but I am offering it for $210. It will pay for itself and then some if it prevents your vehicle from getting stolen, this is really the best line of defense against car thieves.

I'm sure it does its job well, but I don't think that's going on my car anytime soon... Thieves would probably just vandalize my car because they can't steal it.

New price: $180
Autolock, the club and an alarm don't really help. They all can be defeated in a minute or less. This is the only thing that will stop most thieves. My friend with an ITR has this and daily drives his car. Out of the seven people he knows with ITRs, his is the only one that hasn't been stolen and stripped to nothing. Every other ITR has been taken to a chop shop and everything of value was removed, making the car a total loss. The only thing I think my friend has had stolen were fog lights and emblems, but the thieves can't drive off with the car to take what they really want (the engine, tranny, etc)

You need a special key to open it, its not like a lock that you can pick or something. There is also a hole where the key is inserted so that you can put a padlock around it for added security. Again, this is what parking enforcement uses and its $400+ for it brand new. I have had 4 of my cars stolen so far and none since I've put this lock on my cars. Plus, you won't get a parking ticket if your car has this wheel boot on in some areas....
