Wiring Help
Hi guys. I need your help but please dont laugh at me. I've bought these door sills for my 01 civic (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT) and they're supposed to light up when I open the door. I need help with the wiring. The instructions say that one of the wires go to door switch (+) and the other one to the battery power 12V (-). The problem is simply that I dont know how to do this, where the points are and how to connect the wires. Any help appreciated.

Don't feel embarrassed... we were all new at this at some point. However, if you have no experience with wiring and don't have anyone to supervise, then I wouldn't suggest this. I can't remember where the door switch is located... somwhere between the door and I pillar... usually looks like a push button. For the battery the easiest way to do it is to run wiring to the battery and include an inline fuse. The negative wire can just be screwed into a bare metal part of the car.
Also... this belongs in the ICE and electrical forum.
