I Recently had a Brain storm! I Liked how the RSX headlights looked, but it took all of about 7 months to think to myself...."why don't I convert mine"! Well shortly after realizing the potential there, I read an ad in HCI for RSX conversions! They wanted $1899, **** that! Heres my question, how close would the fit be... for an RSX front bumper and head lights be on my 01 dx? is it worth buying a bumper and trying? I'm new at this, so I may be coming off us dumb, but I'm just new thats all! any help would be appreciated! thanx!

i think someone mentioned this a few days ago. in addition to the front bumper and lights, you may also need the hood and the side fenders.

there has been talks about this for the longest time. I think someone even posted a picture of a civic that had it done. I know for sure there were 1 or 2 photochops floating around. But yeah 2g's sounds about right. I mean what do you expect, a complete conversion for $500? you can do it the "easy" way and but new fenders, hood, bumper, headlights but the parts alone will cost what 1,000 and you still have to put some custom work into it. Or you can always do it the hard way and just get the headlights and fit it on to the car somehow.

but yeah you can see that its not going to be cheap and its probably not all going to fit perfectly. if it did, there would be tons of civics out there with rsx conversions.

i didnt know the 03 came with a diffrent motor than 01-02-04 crazy

and befor this gets flamed, for not searching and 2nd for being a gay topic. i will put in my .02 cents. dont do it its ugly and gay, its a waist of money to make a nice car look ugly. the pics that were posted of the conversion, were not photoshoped someone acctually wasted that much money, to make there car look like ****.

if the conversion was pulled off and looked like an rsx i dont see how it'd be gay, i think it'd b cool, but not cool to spend $2gs or even $1500, i'd say maybe $1k would b ok, but if ur replacing the entire front end than its not just a headlight conversion so in that case for the whole front to look like an rsx, kinda neat idea, i think its worth a good 1500 if u have the $ to spend..

it didnt look anything like a rsx. it looked like a civic with a rsx front. that didnt fallow the lines of the car, so it looked like a civic with a bad nose job.

Is that the Stock RSX front bumper? Cause that and the ugly @$$ hood are the only parts that suck. The headlights look dope!

Yah i agree!!! Need to get rid of that bumper but other than that its pretty good. I think it looks even better than the other one i think ive seen, looked like the front was wider and it looks nasty!!

I keep gettin ideas for a K20A powered track car and this would definantly make the cut, without the bumper of course. Well maybe not but it looks pretty cool. Kind of supprised how natural it looks on the car. way better then the del sols I have seen with lexus GS lights on them

i think it looks hot, i'm gonna go with the jdm front bumper tho. that ones to out there. and the hoods CF, how could not like CF? mine won't be done till april, cuz i'm building a k20 to match. so just wiat till i'm done and then tell me it looks ugly.

I like the mugen front bumper! some cf fenders/and hood! think it'll be expensive but worth it! I'll post pics when i finally do it! thanx for your imput! and those who don't like it can eat me!
