Once again, it's gutted. I put in some eDead today just to see how that stuff worked. I ended up doing most of the trunk. What do you guys think? Do the rest of the car? Doors, roof etc... I have enough mat to do it all
Has anyone used eDead before? It's not as easy to use like dynamat, fatmat, roadkill etc... I wont be using my system anymore so if anyone is interested.

dont see the point in really gutting cars....Unless your planning to join SCCA and make it a full blown track car. All gutting does is make the car a little lighter at most and a hell of alot more uncomfortible to ride in.....
Personally keep your stuff in its not going to make you that much faster!
just my .02 cents
you will miss your stereo system. I did when my car was gutted. not at my own will of course this was done
damn thieves...

My bad, I wasn't near a computer to get on here. I like the rammat/dynamat/fatmat better I think. eDead is cool when you're planning to use your panels. It is very thin, however... since it has the uv back film "foil" type of matieral it does work just as good as the other thicker sound deadners. The one con i found in using it was being more difficult to get around the curves. It doesnt stretch very far to wrap around things.
At least it looks pretty. In my gutting situation
Oh, and some people think gutting a vehicle is a waste. I drove my car for a long time with a full system, I'm sure some people remember back in the day. I started having migraines everyday. After removing the "bass" from my car it all went away. Then I drove it for about five months gutted. Began to miss that low end thump so I always kept going back and forth. I might buy my friends 8" off him and make a fiberglass box in the corner... I dunno.
