Unhappy Credit card useage concern

Hey guys, I need some help here. I know that I got like a 1000 credit limit in my credit card but I'm being a chicken shiet of using 300 or more from it. The problem that I'm trying to prevent is paying more than 50 bucks a month for that card. Do they usually charge more if I use that much of it? Please let me know fellas...thanks.

depends on your interest rate. I think that you are just being smart. I used to owe like 3 g's on a high rate card the interest alone was around50 or 60 bux a month. Which sucked when I had my job before this one... hardly any funds then. I paid that biiaatch off and never looked back. I only charge what I can pay off in a month or 2 now. Don't become a slave to your card.

Well what I was trying to prevent is paying more than 50 a month. 50 a month is normal to me but anything more than that then I'm in trouble. My interest rate is only 8.9% APR but no annual fees.
If you had used 3G's on a high interest rate card then I guess I shouldn't worry because the only concern I have is paying more than 50 a month.
