Rear Stabilizer is Broke...WHY?

I pulled of my rim the oter day to fit my new Tsunomi sides and i noticed that the sway bar staybilizer was broken, How the hell does that thing break. this is it ....numbers 8 and 9 in the pic ....if you have rims, you can see through the whole..

Ok first off im running 19x8 inch rims, wider and bigger rim...could that be it?... but enough to snap it off...doesnt sound right...

2nd questtion - would it be btter to buy just the stabilizer and fix it or would it be better to upgrade the whole sway susption ( after market )

3rd question - which one do i buy, Im not much into racing, mostly cruzing, dont evn care to much how it performs, its not really going to make a difference for what i use the car for...you know..i just dont want it to break again

4th question - RSX Type S sway bar - I hear it fits the coupe, if i go with that one does it eliminate the stabilizer, because from what i see the progress sway bar looks just like the RSX stock sway and from the pics below, looks like it does away with the stabilizer..does that make sence?

heres the pics with the end links, replaceing the stabilizer..

Im i right or wrong?

A member here (Grey I think is his screen name) sells custom made endlinks. From what I here their alot better than the stock ones. Since your at it might as well get a new sway bar and new endlinks.

I use grey's endlinks with my progress bar and they have been fine for the last year or so. I highly recommend them.
