who here had to go to inspection station for like a fixing ticket or something. i just want to know what they do????? lets say u got fixing ticket for tints would they tell u to open up your hood too just because your car looks all fix can they do that.

if its for tint n.o if its for exguast and no cat they make u turn ur car on and rev it. if its for intake header ect.. they make u pop ur hood. if lowerd they messure ur car. I've had every fix it ticket u can think of =D hope this helps I know ur worried about ur turbo.

are u talkin about goin to a state referee....cuz i have for my nitrous kit..they inspect EVERYTHING...but if its for tint and stuff i dont think they will check other stuff. But if you got a ticket for modified emissions, damn thats gonna suck

swap liscense plates with a friend of urs who also have a black coupe. . .i'm pretty sure they do not check the vin #. correct me if im wrong people.

there are other places than the dash for the VIN number. They also have it under the hood

VIN # sticker is on almost all body parts......like open ur hood and you'll see it along the top inner edge of the fenders. Open your trunk and you'll see it on the top edge of the quarter panels and bumper......it's everywhere!

its not for me its for my friend. Lets say someone gets cought for not having there liscense plates in front and they have to go to inspection station for them just to see that u put it on. they won't tell u too open the hood rite. u guys know pigs come on here rite so yea. thanks for your halp let me know i could tell my homeboy

If he wants to run with his license in his window, just go to someplace like Target and get some Suction Cup Hooks for like $1.06, and then hook up the license plate and suction to the windshield. If you get pulled over for any reason, they wont be able to touch you on the license plate deal. As long as it is securely fastened its all good. And the suction cup thing is securely fastened in their books.

I got a fix it for my exhaust ticket. When I took it in to get it check off, the CHP said he won't do it till i took off my front tint, put back my normal lights (as opposed to the Hyper white), made me pop my hood, told me to take off the headers, and bring it back. It was wether I do all that, or he could sign me off right there for the exhaust and write me another ticket for all those other things. The worst part about all that was that I was gonna leave the country for 2 months the next day, so I had to do all that and take it back to the CHP office before they closed.

Actually David it can as long as its fastened correctly. When Abe was being ryce king and driving with his primered Octane front, he put it in his windshield. I told him to get suction cups and he did. When he put his OEM bumper on he still had the plate suctioned in his windshield, and he got rolled on. The cop said that he couldnt get him for the license plate since it was fastened by suction cups.
