Will the Breakins ever Stop?

Well this post is mostly to see what the AZ people have to give for ideas or people that have dealed with car breakins. Well my sisters 95 civic got broken into again, they broke the window this time but couldn't do anything since she had a club on it this time that I told her to start putting on it. This is the fifth time in a matter of mths that this has happened. Twice at work and 3 times at her apartments. They have been trying to steal the car now not just the strereo since they allready have it. Now would a alarm help any? Sell the car? Any ideas would be appreciated but the arrowhead mall was where the 2 breaks in happened uggg I hear that place is notorious for that.

MetroCenter is more notorious for car theft...but Phx as a city is horrible

Has she tried a kill switch? An alarm would let everyone around know whats going on and bring attention to her car...that would be a good thing.

yeah, MetroCenter is the worst!!

i cant believe that after the first 2, 3 or even 4 times she didnt realize that she needed to do something

in my opinion, they will get it no matter what you have on it if they really want it (hell...they even use flatbed trucks!!)

I'm still putting airhorns on my alarm. My friends 4-runner was broken into this week. He woke up and thought that it went off by mistake. Rather than hit the disarm buttom, he hit the autostart button. It freaked em' out and they took off. He just got his check cut for IVA-D900 that he "had".

Thanks. The only way to stop theft is to do something about it. And the club is not worth anything. They can just cut the steering wheel in one spot and slip it right off. Imo, the brake pedal lock is way better. I think I'm gonna look for one.

Glendale area like 101 around the arrowhead mall area. Yeah I have the clutch auto lock, had it the whole time I lived in Phoenix. Yeah weird a 95 civic 4 door would have issues like this but yeah my sis has been removing the ignition fuse. Even though the car was broke into 2 more times after that but yeah removing that could have been what has kept the car from being stolen.

A kill switch is a option, but yeah thinking she will get an alarm if that doesn't stop them then she is going to have to trade it in for a real POS.

Yep I was over there back in February of 03 talking with a buddy of mine in the parking lot and 2 cops on bikes rolled up and played 50 questions with us. Ticked me right off they were real ****** just bored harassing us, they wanted ID, where we worked, why we were talking in the parking lot, all this stuff. But yeah they were saying that they were having a lot of car break ins around that time and all this stuff so I guess its got even worse over there.
