Yeah but I heard that Acura was goung to discontinue the RSX due to slow sales as well as bringing the Acura line more upscale to compete with Lexus, BMW etc and it seems as this new Civic would be a good replacement for that void created in doing so.

Simply a rumor at this point. Honda does need to do something extreme with the Civic though to allow it to compete with EVOs, WRXs, and the like.

Honda themself said that the only thing you won't see on the production model is the wing, exhaust, blacked out lights, black hood, the brakes and the rims. They said the brakes might be thrown in as an option and the rims will be 17s instead of the 18s you see. Other then that, everything else you see is coming on the production model. My poor RSX, lol. Looks like I better start throwing some mods on to stay in front, lol.

Another thing, Honda is actually going to be at SEMA this year with this car and they said that they realize that Tuners wanted a more tuner friendly car and stuff so Honda seems to be getting into the game........finally. Its going to have the k20a2 in that shizzle, which you guys already know is very mod friendly. What I love about this car is that it comes a damn LSD!!!! LSD!!!! OMFGWTFBBQ!!!!

Yes it's a concept but I would bet the actual car will have a lot in common with the one they unveiled.
