Talking having fun... [sorta long story]

Every time w hen I go home from my girlfriends house I hope to find somebody that I can kind of race with, but I never gotten lucky. So tonight I was rather minding my own business on my way home and was pretty much just chilling to my music. I got on the interstate and was going around 70 approaching a turnpike onto another interstate. All of a sudden I saw this older ford( I think that’s what it was, from mid 80s-90s) passing at about 100+. I didn’t let that bother me too much because it would take too long to get up to that speed for me.

A few seconds later an RSX(stock I think) followed by an intregra(early-mid 90’s with exhaust and maybe more) passing by me, catching up to the ford. All went on the turnpike and with out any intentions I ended up right behind them and right away I felt like I needed to join them. We all were stuck behind somebody who was going really slow down the turn but as we got off the turnpike I went into 2nd to be ready to floor it, however they didn’t start racing right away and so I sat behind them for a sec( I didn’t wanna try to pass them and show off LOL like I could..so I was modest J). All of a sudden the RSX took of and the integra followed, I tried to keep up and I was following them but surly I was falling back. We all went up to about 110 at which I then slowed down because I just didn’t feel like risking too much. After slowing down to about 70 I passed the integra but just minded my own business again because I saw he didn’t wanna race anymore, I then came up to the RSX who too was chilling. We both stayed kind of close to each other, he passed me sometimes, then I passed him.

This was going on for a while and basically we were just going where we wanted to. After a while the RSX saw an older prelude up ahead and pulled up next to him. When I saw that I placed myself next to the RSX and we all were going a little less then 60mph. After we did this for about 8 secs I floored it because the prelude wasn’t going to race and I had to get off soon so I took my chance and hit it. I had about 1 second of advantage before the RSX floored it. I was ahead of the RSX I would say that for a sec it took him a little to catch up but as I was getting closer to my redline in 2nd the was catching up with me and shortly after I was in 3rd his nose was ahead of mine and of course he kept gaining and eventually he got in front of me and (hehe). We went up to around 95mph. He turned his emergency lights on just for a sec(to make sure that I understood how he owned me) and I let my brights flicker for a sec, just to show him my appreciation and I then already had to get off the interstate, and so the race was over.

I had a ton of fun, now I know that some people here don’t appriciate this kind of stuff, and I understand, but it was way too much fun to turn it down. All in all the RSX ofcourse had the overhand and won but that doesn’t matter because we had a lot of fun.

Summing up the cars…..
RSX – probably stock and only maybe a type S, probably not.
Some ford that got lost after we got off the turnpike
An integra who slowed down and probably too got off
A prelude who didn’t seem to wanna race, I don’t know what happened to him :-D
My civic HX J he sure must love me cuz I let him run so much :-D lol

It was probably one of the best drives home that I had in a long time. It was just a ton of fun!!!
