too dang fast boy
i was late getting to school about a year ago, so i was taking this shortcut. its pretty straight except fr the S turn beside of a water treatment plant. i was going about 75mph.
i was thinking, " my car can take this. i've got new tires on the back and i just got it lowered." i was wrong. i hit a patch of gravel on the road and i did 2 360's before landing on a bank over a ditch. the treatment plant guys called a cop and he got a wrecker there. it was going to cost me $80 to get it pulled off that hill but the officer said that he wasn't going to file a report becuse the dammage wasn't over $500. it only set me back $25. i was lucky. i got a few scratches on my bumper and a skid mark on my rim.

well i thought i could make it until i actually got halfway through it. then that idea hit the fan, and i just held on for the ride. one thing i did leave out though was the fact that a car stopped in the other lane just as i started spinning. i can't believe i forgot that. i did learn my lesson. all i think about especially when its raining is going slow around curves. i have it in my head that my car will spin out no matter what i do.

That sucks at least you didn't do that much damage I did something almost the same I tried going around a curve too fast almost a perfect 90 degree angle turn tried to cut it with a slight tail slide that didn't work and my car got wrecked. We live we learn what can you do, at least you weren't hurt.
Yeah, lesson learned. I did the same thing in high school with my 65 dart. There was this turn to the freeway onramp that I would always haul *** around. I had RWD so it would fishtail a little before I got traction, then I'd just floor it to the freeway.
I made the mistake of trying the same thing one day right after it started raining. I ended up facing the other direction in the median, with my car bogged in mud. I felt like an a$$hole and didn't speed around corners anymore.
until I put $1500 of suspension parts into my civic ... lol

Another lesson is don't speed over roads you aren't familier with. You probably would have known about the gravel and avoided it if you had driven that route a couple of times.
And one more tip, don't try to find the limit of your car's handling right after some major mods like different tires and lowering. Work up to the limit slowly. Your car will thank you.
