Oh and to the kid that said there was a turbo 4 cylinder made in the fox body style. You are also full of ****! There has never EVER been a turbo mustang produced in any model or year!!! I don't care if it was SVO or SVT. Ford has never used a turbo in any of their stock mustangs. The only type of forced induction that has been used in a stock stang is a supercharger. And those are found in the newer Cobras. Somebody please find me the BS flag. These kids have been owned!!!!

The Mustang SVO was produced by the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) department of Ford Motor Company from 1984 through 1986.

Please dont call me a KID when you just got owned
its funny that you missed on of the most famous mustangs of your fox body years. I mean damn all i had was an SN95 but i still knew about it

also the pre 87 mustangs, the ones that had a flat dash (some with woodgrain yuk!!) and headlights that were sunk back in the bumper. the GTs of the ealry years had massive power

1982
157 HP @ 4200 RPM
240 ft/lb @ 2400 RPM

1983
V8 GT
175 HP @ 4200 RPM
245 ft/lb @ 2400 RPM

Turbo GT 4 cylinder
145 HP @ 4600 RPM
180 ft/lb @ 3600 RPM

1984
4V - V8 GT (5-speed)
175 HP @ 4200 RPM
245 ft/lb @ 2400 RPM

CFI - V8 GT (automatic)
165 HP @ 3800 RPM
245 ft/lb @ 2000 RPM

Turbo GT 4 cylinder
145 HP @ 4600 RPM
180 ft/lb @ 3600 RPM

The GT didnt even break 200 HP till 1985 (at a whopping 210hp)and carried a very similar body style. He may have been mistaken but it could happen that a dual exhaust 5.0 got beat.

The only type of forced induction that has been used in a stock stang is a supercharger. And those are found in the newer Cobras.
dont forget Saleen S281, S351 and Rousch Stage 3

other that all that man your a mustang fanatic.

I had admitted that I had gotten owned. No big deal. Like S2000 said, we all overlook things. So don't sit there and think you're some car god. Oh and it obviously wasn't one of the most famous because I would have not been able to overlook it. The only years of the fox body that are worth looking at are 89-93. Everything else was completely weak. 87 wasn't that weak cuz my boy has a nice fully built all motor GT and it moves. Anything earlier then 87 in the fox body was a complete waste and I do not consider them a stang, especially 4 cynlinders. Oh ya one more thing. The 87 also had the headlights that were sunk into the bumper mister car god. It's still not possible that he beat a 5.0. The only possibility that I see is if the driver of the stang just learned how to drive it. See if you can fit your head in your toilet and copy the picture because your attempt to make me feel small was unsuccessful.

Mustangs were made in 4, 6, 8 cylinder versions.

Okay whatever, but I don't understand the erason for makint turbo 4 cyl???? If you wanted a faster mustang, you only had to buy one with MORE cylinders. That's why they made them.

I have beaten many 6-cylinder mustangs(older ones) A 4-cyl would be no contest.

Older ppl like to race too, Just last week I spanked a 55-yr. old in a green craralier...
