Another old one that I decided to post up since when have a street encounters forum...............

I just put my AEM Cold Air Intake on the day before this race. It sounds awsome. The engine feels like it is roaring with power.

Well, I was driving to work one night around 11:30pm. While i was going down the road I was hot ******* the engine to hear it's great sound. Then, I pull up on an automatic Pontiac Grand Prix.

The guy starts to line up with me, instead of let me pass him. Then he slowly eases up and starts to pull away. So, I drop my car into 3rd and slam the gas home. Quickly I overtake him and by the time i make it to 5th I have put 3 cars on him. We are going 110mph down the hwy. We pass a car(it's my co-worker going to work...lol)
Then, my radar detector goes off. A car about a 1/8th mile ahead of me all of the sudden slams on the breaks and pulls off into the grass. ****! It's a cop!

The grand prix and I slam on the breaks and cruise by the cop. After we get about 500 yards passed him he pulls back onto the road. My turn to go to work is less than a 1/4 mile away and around a bend. I slam the car into 3rd again and hurry to my turn. I turn off the road and fly down it, losing any cars behind me.

That was close! My co-worker was laughing and saying she was hoping that i would get pulled.

I guess that this could be considered my first race in my new car.

Radar detectors arent really gonna help if your racing but at least you didn't get caught.

No offense taken.......I know I deserved one. But we all get out lucky breaks. Like I said, my coworker that I passed during the race wanted me to get a ticket also. To this day she keeps saying she wished that I got ticketed.

same thing kinda happened but i wasnt really racing just simply toying around.
i was at a light and this old school 325 pulls up, i couldnt tell if it was an i or e but oh well. he gives me a kind of a dirty look and i just wait for the light. i wanted to make sure the next time he looks over at me that hell be looking at my tail lights. i spin off at green and leave him behind, suddenly the cops show up behind me. wtf? i didnt see them at the light. but **** they were tailgating me like they wanted to pull me over. so i slow down a bit and pace through traffic. i am sure they did a check on the car. at this point i pull up to a car trying to parallel park on the street, he goes around me and takes the open lane then makes a left at the next light. thank god! i thought i was fncked, i never had a ticket with the civic yet.

hahahaha that sounds like the time I was turning right at a stoplight and i floor it in my auto, im going like 70 on a 45 right in front of some Church thats up on a Hill. Then I see a cop ahead of me in the opp. lane. I slow done pretty quick. Next thing I know, he turns around in the churchs driveway and follows me. I drive 45 in front of the HS, no one was out yet so I guess it was aight. I turn left at the stop sign. Im freaking out bc my sisters friend kept looking back at the cop and I was like DUDE STOP LOOKING!! The Cop turns left also and I turn right at the next stop sign and pull into the middle School parking lot. Cop dissapeared somewhere. hahhaha. **** wether or no u do something wrong, dont turn around to look at the cop. The last time my sis did that when i just got my license and my mom was in the car also, i got pulled over. He said i had a burned out brake light. Later on that i found out it was BS. hahhaha.

That reminds me of the other time i got away with Speeding/racing I was going down the street in front of the mall and the police station. Some guys in a Eclipse are 2 lanes over. I look at them and check out his car with his clear tails. I just accelerate pretty quickly. Next thing i know, a lifter blazer is on my right and we both are going like 55 in a 45. Then after the next light, The Eclipse flybys us and at the next red light, i see a cop a few cars behind the eclipse. At the right turn i make, I see the cops flash the lights. hahahah Suxors!!! I guess the Eclipse got pulled over, and me and my friend just laughed. We went to the Boardwalk and saw the Blazer and i guess he didnt get pulled over. lol.

Hmmmmm I remember the time i was going 8 East following some friends and was past Alpine and I was going like 90 on the freeway and I pass up some white Explorer, lol it was some Warden to some prison. lol. hahahaha. POwersliding on the way to my friends house was fun. But when one of my friends was behind me and we were making a turn, he wasnt paying attention and he sees we are stopped, he slams his brakes. lol. hahaha
