curious tc vs em2
i raced my friends tc and the outcome was...when there was no mistakes...was that i beat him by half a car. i pretty much got ahead at the launch then started pulling on 2nd gear then by third it was locked. i only raced him three times and the other 2 times was me beating him by 2 cars cuz he misshifted 3rd both times. ill put up videos if u guys want me to..but im curious if any of u guys raced tc's and what was the outcome...
btw..the tc jus had the trd exhaust and im totally stock with springs and shocks.

Rep Power: 251 yeah i drove his car to see why the hell it was so gay when he raced me..thing felt slow...thats all i can say.oh well..imma race my other friends tc soon so we'll see how that goes...rhcp have u ran a tc yet?

im an auto there is no point lol, but i have read threads about people racing them, if the tc is auto and the civic is manual the civic will win, manual vs manual depends on the drivers but if they are both good the tc would win stock vs stock, mods might help some with mt vs mt but yea, tc has a better chance of winning overall

Rep Power: 380 yeah guy can't drive. my buddy has a Tc, he has only beaten me once and that was when I was untunned on 2psi the day i installed the turbo. beat me by 1/2 car. but even running on 5psi i would put 7-8 cars on him.
I did race a stock 5spd TC before the swap, when I was by no means a stock D17 and put a car or so on it. I just raced a TC the other day with the swap, just for fun LOL. I slowly rolled on 1st and 2nd to make him think he was keeping up and then hammered it at around 6k rpm in second, bye bye TC LOL. I think he gave up after I instantly put multiple car lengths on him.

Rep Power: 338 give your bud some time to learn and then race again and then see what happens.... sounds like you guys had some friendly races, but it's a bit unfair to compare but you won so......
Another thing, I dont know what ppl are driving these tC's when you guys are racing them, but stock vs. stock, both 5 speed, a tC would win against an EP3.

^^^^yes and before my swap I was pulling stock and modded EP3 without alot of trouble. At the time my mods were:
-exhaust
-DC header
-AEM SRI with a custom race duct and box that ran from the intake to my foglight area where I cut a hole.
-lightened FW
-Exeedy clutch
-ES inserts
-DC SS adaptor
-and around 100lbs lightened

Rep Power: 243 not trolling the boards I promise, I am an ex-7thgen owner coming back to the forum. But I just got a tC and the only reasons you could have won were he was auto and you were stick or he was a crappy driver. My tC is so much quicker than my civic.

Rep Power: 251 yeah..if u read above..he is a newb driver..and i am currently teaching him the basics...he seems like he is getting better..ill be racing him again for fun soon to see if he catches on to the whole thing...i drove his tc after i raced him and it seemed like u gotta be gentle with that thing...but anyways...yeahhhhhp...maybe its cuz im jus a damn good driver......heeeeeeeeeh he he he . -_- .... jk ....
