vic vs. vic on parkway
vic vs. vic on parkway
well here is my story there is not much to tell since it was all open road and 2 identical cars but here it goes anyway. im sittin on the garden state parkway cruising doing about 65-70 mph at 3:30 a.m. when i see a car in my mirrors quickly pulling up into my area obviously at 3:30 a.m. you really cant tell too well what it is especially when it has some type projector lights and they weren't too bright and it was dark as hell. well i really couldnt tell who the driver was but they continued and pulled up next to me b4 i knew it i looked over and it was a bit ahead of me and i realized it was not only a vic but a 7th gen vic which by the way looked very nice and clean so i jumped on the gas pedal to keep up next thing i know is i looked down and im going about 120 keeping up right behind the blue vic i felt a bit hesitent at 3 a.m. in the morning doing about 120 mph on the garden state parkway its very obvious that your speeding badly at that time of the night when your the only 2 cars out on the road lol so i immediately slowed down a bit but who knows maybe the driver is a member here on the site and will put in there 2 cents but if you are a member here thanks for the lil race it was fun lol
the car felt very stable at the speed my only problem is my rotors are a bit warped and need to be replaced so thats my only issue and its true that we arent endangering anyone at that time of night but u kno very well if a state trooper saw it he would have been all over us.

man i've only been upto 100 and the car felt like it could keep going. only done it twice cause if i get caught its prolly jail time lol
it actually got up to that speed pretty well and if u guys look at pics of my car i have the heavy system in the back plus the leather interior so i can imagine what an all motor d17 can do especially if its stripped down to the metal

naaa im not nuts...i come from z cars i have had 2, they rock at speeds and handling. i got my civic because i decided i need a "new car"(bought it a year old) that is reliable and that is what i got.

God he must have been doing 6800 rpms. I was estimating 135 just doing some calculations with gear ratios but I wasnt thinking of pushing it past the red. I can believe it though felt like it had plenty more when I had mine up to 120, all I needed was a lot more room. are cars are decent, but i say they really die after around 120...yeah they can do 140 but it will take forever!!! My 78z on the other hand...after you got past 50mph it was all go! i could do 110 in third and 145 in fourth...there was still 5th left...never got to try it.

I knew someone wouldn't believe me. talk all the poop you want but i know ive done it and thats what matters. Try hitting redline in 5th and then you can contradict me all you want if your not at 140 or more
