OK.. my night started out going to my friends house to help him install his new deck. We finished at about midnight and my friend Brian hopped into his 95 accord and put his 12 pack of Coors Light on the front seat. I grab my friend Eliah and his girlfriend and head out about 1min later. Well I get onto this long road called "S Columbus rd" (My friend Nick lives at the very bottom of this road) well Eliah had not rode in my car yet and so with that being said I act like a dumbass and punch it in 2nd. I then slam 3rd gear im doing a good 85mph.. well im passing the first street on the right and see Cop Lights he had pulled someone over. Im like **** it im going to for it... well i keep the pedal to the floor and keep climbing 125...135.. then I see some S Curves slow down to about 110 and fly right through them... Eliahs phone rings and its Brian he said that the Sheriff let him go and was chasing us.. I pull into Nicks house and shut off the car and lights and hide my car. I run into the house and chill with everyone.. Brian shows up 5 mins later and says "DUDE YOU GOT ME OUT OF A DUI" I was Laughing sooo hard. Man was my heart pumping. Neways before someone calls me a dumbass it was either slow the **** down and get pulled over and go to jail and get my car impounded or run... I know it was a dumb thing to drive so fast. But what a RUSH... haha

your friend is dumb for drinking and driving and that sucks that he did not get a ticket, and frankly that was just plain dangerious what you did also. maybe if you got caught you would have learned a lession so latter down the road of life you dont harm your self or others.

i really know me of all people shouldnt laugh but man this shyt is funny. you got soooo lucky man. and so did your buddy. i suggest you take that as a lesson learned and not do it again. i to like to step on it every once in a while but you have to got to keep it under wraps or you put yourself and others at risk. and im still trying to figure out how you hit 135 MPH when most of these cars shut off @ 120mph

yeah that was kind of dumb on your part. If you slowed down by the time you got to the cop you would have been fine, its not like hes checking speeds down the road when hes pulling someone over. Big risk for yourself, but yeah the cop is going to have problems if hes gotta start chasing you from a stop, I know two kids whove gotten out of tickets by just keeping on going. I guess you saved your friends *** though. Personally I just pay close attention and slow down imediately when I see them. I think they have to get readings closer, or get multiple readings, cause I know I've been doing 90 in plain sight but like over a mile away and never been pulled over. The two times ive been caught they gave me like 3 readings. And yeah with some mods 135 shouldnt be a problem, its got the gear for it and I know ive broken 120 with everything stock just need more room.

Reminds me of when I was a kid... I'd always drive my dirtbikes on the street, then take off on a trail when the neighbours called the cops...
But then one day I got caught... And from that point on I stuck to the dirt... mostly...

Hopefully this encounter will teach you to drive a little more carefully

this reminds me of the s2k story where the guy was going by pretty fast, the cop flashed his light to him to slow down, but he floored it. Cop wasn't even gonna follow if he slow down, but now he ended up in jail with impounded car.

yeah i know it wasnt the smartest thing to do... I did learn a huge lesson from this, I was driving alot yesterday and was not in the mood to speed like i usually do on back roads. So It has made me slow down.

That cop is a piece of ****. What's worse to have on the road, someone speeding or someone drunk, who is probably going to speed anyway? Somehow I don't believe the cop would have left someone who was drunk to just go about their way.

according to my friend he was about the shine the flashlight into the car as I flew by the cop knew i was doing over 70mph... he handed my friend back his license and told him not to drive without his headlights on again... thats why he was pulled over.
