Ran a friends v6 tib. he has i/h/e and he's in the mid 14's territory.
i've got i/h/e and 75shot.

pretty good run i think.
it was from a 40mph roll. we stayed pretty even.

The only V6 tibs i have seen run mid to low 14's have every bolt-on known to man! There is one guy here in Canton with a V6 tib with only an exhaust who wants to race me for a tank of gas cuz he says "haha yeah right man you wanna race my car with that 4 door Buick over there?It even has babyseats in the back!!!!" then he starts laughing with his friends. I told him screw the tank of gas i wanna race for $300. Then he was like "Yeah right dude i can hand with new Mustang GT's like nothing!"
He then proceeds to ask me why i'm so sure i can win and what i have done to the Buick. I told him i bought it with some strang Tornado fuel saver "thingy" on it and thats all.
Guess he started asking the locals about my car at the local cruisin spots and i haven't seen him since.
All of the V6 tib owners i have met have big heads about their cars just cause its a V6. Yeah a V6 with under 200hp!!! Thats sad!
Can't beleive i would try to race a car of that caliber with a 4 door Buick Regal!!!

There are plenty of people on here who think civics are the best cars ever made so naturally people on a tiburon forum would think theirs is the best. But I have learned to just avoid the subject of comparing a tiburon to another car. Simply because everyone assumes that since it's a hyundai that it's not a good reliable car.

im going to say good running. a 4banger tiburon sucks all ballz. even our car would give it a good run. it would be a drivers race. but a stock v6 has 2.7 liter displacement. which is a little lacking in my opinion. it sounds like it should have been a 4banger. the 4banger is 140 hp. the v6 is only 180 but they both weigh almost 3000 pounds. 2940 to be exact. so i wouldn't even be afraid to run a v6 in my almost stock civic. the car does 0-60 in 7.8 seconds with the v6. thats the same as our car stock ex. the qt mile is 16 seconds. idk. not worth it. i think you would win from a dig.
