You've just proved your ignorance my friend, I don't even have a civic, I drive an F150. Power, please, I had a 10 second '73 Camaro and my truck is no slug with 300 hp and 365 ft-lb and a 4.10 LSD rear end. I've known plenty of people with newer Z28's, and they are lucky to get in the mid 20's in stock form, maybe 1-2 MPG gain with boltons. Never seen a Z28 or CamaroSS getting 30 MPG with out some really tall rear end, and then their quarter time die.
So what is your gearing? Because unless you had a complete costum tranny put in, there is no way you are doing that.

Rep Power: 305 ls1 powered cars are fast, no one has really disputed that. but you make it sound like they're not twice the cost of civics, with twice the insurance costs, because it has half the safety features. so many GM owners i know have broken ABS it isn't even funny.

2000 Camaro SS was rated at 25 MPG, that's what most of my friends get, you must drive alot of flat highway then and have some basic bolt on right? I guess that maybe possible, but I know I would never get 30 MPG in an SS.

I guess if I could do it for less $$$ that would be cool, but I can't think of what car you are talking about
6th gear isn't even useable as an acceleration gear on those cars.
