meh it's about what I'd expect out of an EVO that's 150 pounds lighter than a regular EVO 8.

I would of thought the Evo would of lost at that speed taking into consideration a small turbo and all wheel drive train loss.

^^ I've only read on the specs of the TD05 twin scroll Turbo that comes with the Evo.. I test drove one, which I didn't drive too erractically.. just respect for a car in general. But just from reading off of s2k boards and subaru boards that awd turbo cars do not have good top end.. i.e: EVO, WRX STi, WRX.

this is true, but with the right mods you can get around that. my friend has race cams and a bunch of other mods but the race cams help alot. his car from 4000 rpms pulls like a mother****er all the way to 7500.

Who cares what car gets you more chicks or which u'll pick over. Being a honda board, im sure 99.9% of the members here would pick the s2k over the evo. I just wanted to show yall what happens when a s2k owners say he can beat a stock evo from a roll.

an S2000 can only beat a stock EVO from a roll starting at a higher speed. and even then it's pretty even.
