For months i have seen hondaman2k posting a bunch of kills that i was skeptical about, but now i believe them. Last night i was coming home from GFs house when a stock (or at least i think it was stock) s2000 pulls up to me, downshifts to match my speed and stares me down hard. I look at him and ask him if he wants to run it, and he grins and nods. We downshift again to 2nd gear, match car speeds, honk 3 times and GO! The turbo lags owns me in 2nd gear while im spooling up and he manages to take about a car length lead, by 3rd gear i caught up to him, and by 4th gear i manage to pull away about 3/4 of a car length on him.The little bastard kept up to me better than alot of other cars such as 350zs and G35s. I was actually shocked at how the little 2.0L engine managed to hold it down. I never thought the s2000 was that quick, but now i have some new found respect for the car.

BTW thats with me running on 8psi, on a stock exhaust. Very close race!

what year was the s2000 because if it is new it is a 2.2L

how much whp do you make in that scion? A slightly modded s2k would've owned you good. Stock is still impressive if it kept up with you like that. Better driver and it might have been different.

It was a 2003 S2000, therefore the 2.0L engine. I havent dynoed yet, but my guess is im putting anywhere around 240-260 to the wheels. Pretty shitty... When i get the 3" exhaust, ill dyno and let you guys know what im putting down.

good cars though, get alot for your buck. If the scion TC was around when I got the civic I would take it over one anyday. I still take it over a 8th gen SI. TRD supercharger will be released this fall for them
