SiR CRX vs. 7thgen Boosted
So ok, I have a friend that wanted to race me... he's got a CRX gutted with SiR engine, NA light mods i/h/e, MSD ignition wire, Si wheels and tires... he ran constant high 14's at the track... we are going to race tonight, and I already told him that he will walk on me, easy... we have the same driving experience... <<<crappy as hell! but I think he would pull on me coz he's about 1000lbs lighter...
do I stand a chance?

there will be no traffic there, it's in the middle of nowhere and you can see on coming traffic 5miles away on each side...

You Sunday off right? the 13th? THis is the 1st time we've ran at Sam Boyd stadium in a couple of years... should be fun. We'll be in the South east lot, and you'll enter at Gate 2.
any way... Its been a while since you've ran with us, print this and bring it.

well after you race him, let us know what happened.
you've got the torque, he's got the weight advantage
if you launch good you could take him thru the first 2 gears, I think in the middle of third he will pass you

check my sig and I did that UNTUNED on stree tries on 8psi so I'm sure u can take him if u can drive. I'll be dyno tuned next week. Let us know how it comes out and good luck to ya man

Sorry I didnt get a closer look at your car. The wheels look good (at least from 300 Ft..)

why would you or anyeone in there right mind run 8lbs on a N/a motor and not tune it? thats plain goofy and asking for trouble..
and 2. when you race, they giv you numbers... 2 numbers. both important as the other. time and trap speed. knowing your time is not a lot of info when you dont know there trap...
a 13.5@98 is totally differnt than 13.5@108.....
get both numbers when you talk to someone about what they ran...
why would you or anyeone in there right mind run 8lbs on a N/a motor and not tune it? thats plain goofy and asking for trouble..
