prelude h22 vs. crx d16
I told my friend to race this dude with a crx who has a d16 vtec with i/h/e and my friend has a 97 prelude with a h22 with i/h/e. The dude with the crx said he would win, so I'm thinking
, so they line up to race on a 6 mile empty road three honks and they go the crx gets the jump and is a 1/2 a car lenth in front of him, they hit about a 100mph and the crx is now 2 car lenths in front of him, thay shut down at 120mph. They go again but my this time the prelude gets the jump and the crx passes him at 85. Me and my friend were like
. He won both times, how this possible I know the crx is lighter but the prelude as like 195hp. I was a passenger in the prelude and the crx had a passenger to.

my friend was shifting at 7000rpm should he have went to his readline which i think is at 8000rpm

prelude run low 15's stock? try high 15's/16 they are pretty heavy , and not really all that fast. ive taken 2 of my friends ludes. one has a 91 H21 and the other has a 95 H22. they can handle like a dream but not the best for speed.

^^dude your not gonna be able to beat much with that civic. im takeing it you have a 5-speed, so yeah you can go up against like focus's (non-svt),neons (non-str-4),pre 03 caviliers and sunfires, gm ecotec auto's the manuals will win, ive beaten some non-turbo eclipses and talons, and a few other odd and end cars such as jettas and stuff. just give up bolt ons go turbo swap or NO2. (i have NO2) or just say screw it and go with stlye which is what im rersorting to. read around a little our cars arn't fast and their pretty expensive to make fast, bolt on's suck for us as well.
