another SRT4 neon goes down

exactly. and IMO, if an SRT4 beats an S2k it beat the driver not the car.
the two cars are so incredibly close to each other (the srt4 is actually able to pull off 2.2 60' times stock which is right up there with the S2k stock, so RWD is hardly an advantage).
an srt4 and S2k race is close no matter what way you cut it, given equal drivers. but the bottom line is, the S2k has a slight advantage. It will pull slowly once you get past about 60mph or so. above 90mph or so, and it starts to pull more noticably.

Rep Power: 399 that's the only thing the srt4 can compare with the S2k on is straight line speed. oh and it'll fit a lot more groceries. 
when talking about performance stats, i dont think price tags mean anything unless your discussing EVERY aspect of the vehicle(s). kind of like losing and telling that person "oh, your car is still ugly and my will cost more in xxx years"

Rep Power: 0 all's i know is a few weeks ago i seen a s2k on the gowanas about 2 miles before getting on the verrezano bridge and i flew by him slowed down a little he caught up and matched my speed so i just cruised at 50mph and he stepped on it as well as i.....I started to pull on him ending it with 1 1/2-2 car lenghts on him but....all i have to say is that car can hang in top end. S2000man still waiting to race one from a dig...when i do ill let you know the outcome...
