was on a 2 lane road today going to hockey which after the light turns into 1 and i lined up next to an acura tl with some old guy in it. i started inching up because i didnt wanna get stuck behind him. i expected it to be an auto but once the light turned green he launched and i didnt and got owned. that engine is extremely loud when its pushed hard

was it the type s? type s runs 260 horse and 232 tq i believe....so.....they'll own. the base tl though....still is 225 horse and 216 tq....once again.....will own. they are HEAVY though....like 3600 pounds...sheeze

if i wouldve launched just as the tl did i would have had a much better chance of getting infront of it but because i didnt it owned me. if i had a turbo and launched im pretty positive that i would get infront of it in such a short distance even if i didnt have 275 hp

basically, NA, in a drag, ALL TL's will own the Civic, end of story.... especially the new one....
I have seen the new 6 speed TL parked but never driven hard, that would be nice to see though.

You think if it was an auto TL it would've been a different story? LOL...auto TL still runs low 15's...they're 270/ 238...and a EX is 127/115...sure you have almost 1k lbs. on the TL, but still...
