...plenty of other threads on this also, because of their auto gearing <4 sp> when they shift the car falls waaaay out of lift, and the car makes all its power in lift.

whats interesting is two of them are in the 16's, yet the one with just intake and exhaust is a low 15.
but none the less it looks like I stand corrected.

second, using the very same page that jericho posted, look at the times for stock celica GT 5-speeds.
http://www.newcelica.org/other/track...t=transmission
oh gee, well look at that. the stock celica GT hits in the 15.9-16.3 range. well waddaya know. that's what a stock civic 5 speed is capable of.
so care to explain why you still think the civic is not up to par? or maybe you'd like to retract your statement of "i dont see a civic ex beating a celica gt".

for a stock ex to get those times i think conditions have to be perfect. Basically i think u have to drive the **** out of it to get those times and not consistently. Jus my opinion

we even had one driver who had a 15.8 stock.
have you yourself ever run the 1/4 mile? if so i'd like to see your time slip and maybe we can figure out where you could improve??

Yeah i saw that low 15...looks like
to me...i mean a 1.8 4-banger thats mid/high 16's stock isn't hitting low 15's with just I/E. Im thinking either he sprayed and didnt own up to it, or there wasnt a slip. Thread
