came out tonight with a 3-1 record
I was just driving to the gym tonight and all these cars felt like raceing.
04 ex sedan 5-speed from a 20mph roll i put about 3 cars on him through 3rd gear, i was expecting would do a biut better but of well, over reved going into 3rd.
2nd gen crx Si 5-speed(sounded h/e/i) From the stop light i launched and put 1 1/2 cars in 1st, then about 3 more in 2nd, and 2 more in 3rd. Mine all the way.
98 integra LS vtec 5-speed(h/e/i) from about a 30 roll he took off and got about a 1 1/2 car lead but not anyfarther away. I was thinking he would be a bit faster.
............After the Gym..........
My friend called me and we raced he has a 91 prelude 5-speed( h/e/i, r rated tires, stage 2 clutch, short throw shifter, about 200 pounds out of the interior) I got off the line and put a 1/2 car on him, we both got real good launches. Then through 2nd gained another 1/2 car. and through 3rd we stayed about the same.
I'd say it was a fun night considering i wasn't even planning on racing tonight.

That's a big negative. The only way of knowing if it was infact an LS bottom end with a VTEC head is if you asked him or you looked at the B16a, B18c1, or B18c5 stamp on the head. I'm guessing you raced just a regular LS Integra with those mods. The outcome of the race sounds like you did. People running a properly built ls/vtec motor are a rare find. Most of the people out there running them just try to slap a vtec head on the ls block without the proper machining needed in order for them to completely match up and seal properly. All in all, nice runs though.

Some first hand stats for ya in case you don't believe me.
ls/vtec hatch run usually mid to high 13's around here in NH.
GS Eclipse run 15's.
It's pretty easy math.
its been awile since i have been home that is why i am here 5 days latter, but i do not doudt the potential of ls/vtec i am just saying it is possiable to do it i know what an eclipse runs and i know what an ls/vtec hatch will run and my freinds eclipse was not the average slugboxany way it ran a 10 flat in the 1/8 but he did beat it and it is possiable good driver in the ls/vetc my freinds eclipse would not have stood a chance.
