Which reman alternator ??
Re: Which reman alternator ??
I hate paying dealer prices but its hard to beat the quality, and easy to get a very poor quality alternator from an aftermarket source.
I believe I read that Honda sells the alt parts to rebuild and you could take it to a local shop to be rebuilt. But if you buy from Honda, you know it was already rebuilt right and quality checked, performance tested.
Be sure to properly tighten alt mounting bolts, since the provide the ground path for your ECU.

reman stuff is junk and a waste of money. NAPA in Canada has some of the worst reman stuff i've ever seen. Find a reputable/trustworthy auto electric place around where you live and have them rebuild it.
