03 Maxima SE vs. 99 Corolla CE

went out to the island Saturday night for bowling with some good friends I havent seen in a while. I didnt feel like driving so my g/f and I hitched a ride in my friend's Maxima. All my other friend's drove their cars and 1 of them is a 99 Corolla. I had a feeling these 2 nut ***** would race so I just sat back and relaxed. Here's how it went:

Both cars at a red light, Max had 3 ppl including me, Corolla 2 ppl (both kind of heavy). Both cars auto. Max has Apexi filter, and the rest are audio and suspension mods. Corolla stock everything except radio. Friend in Corolla steps on it when it turns green. Max lets the brake pedal go and lets it role. Corolla has almost a car lead till my friend in the Max steps on it. Tires chirp for about 2 seconds, which kind of shocked me b/c he also has Falken ZE-512's and traction control on, and was only half throttle (as he said). And off we go and be the time the car shifted into 2nd, the Max had 3/4 car length (maybe more) and....... yeah......... thats it......

it was still funny though.... and I'm sure I couldnt do much better with my car compared to the Corolla. But it was still fun.... known these nut ***** since HS, over 5 years now lol....
