my bad, but like I said it was probally an auto or just a terrible driver. Who cares anymore? Either you believe my story or not. We've analyzed the facts and everyone can form their own opinion based on them. It's all good.

Remember these #'s are obtained by professional drivers, not everyone may be able to repeat them. But with those #'s it's not unreasonable to believe a modded civic could beat any of those, except GT of course.
And I'll even agree with one point made by someone that she just shut down after I passed her. It's possible, but how could I tell when I'm in front?
Maybe I can find someone around here and I'll set up an official run with a V6. If I can make it happen I will def. video. Fair enough?

Yes, professionally driven. Just like these times from a Civic:
Car-Stats.com Report for 2001 Honda Civic EX
Obtained from C&D November, 2000
0-60: 8.4 Transmission: Manual
1/4 Mile: 16.7
1/4 Speed: 84
So a professionally driven Civic still can't hang with a 5-speed V6 Mustang. According to Car and Driver, an EX would even have a tough time keeping with an auto Mustang even if the Civic was professionally driven on a strip. End of story.

i dunno if this means anything but i have an auto ex and can hang with a standard 98 escort ztec. i beat him once and he beat me 2x. the time i beat him was when we didnt have a flagger and did honks, i got a better start off the line. The 98 ecsort beats my friends v6 stang standard transmission every time. they raced like 10 times. so in theory if the vic was standard transmission......? but ill race the v6 stang next weekend and tell u guys how much i get beat by heh
