I think the Si would win unless the DX has turbo.

yeah...its an obvious kill. just straight HP alone. even if i was new at driving a 5spd or...as they call it here in texas a "standard", i would still own an 02 dx in an si. word.

WTF happend to my thread?!?!? LoL.

Anyways, it went like this.

The SI has nothing but a big system and 18's. I have I/H/E SAFCII tuned a little and another person in the car.

We basically raced from a 30 mph in second. We were neck and neck the whole time up to 80 and I wasn't even driving my car, my friend was. I can't wait to actually race him next week from stop without the extra person.

You'd be supprised how much weight affects acceleration, especially when its Rotating mass (18" wheels). Its been found, by mutiple Reputable sources that Rotateing mass is worth 3 times that of regular weight on the car. So but adding 18's that probably weigh 20+ lbs Vs the stock wheels that run about 16-18 lbs.... you'r essentially adding 24 LBs extra rotating weight. Not to mention the increase in the wheels Inertia by streatching it to an 18... and remember the Si is 200+ LBs heavier then the coupe allready and only has 40 more HP then the EX.... weight can turn a quick Si in to a Slow Si pretty easily.

I would not be supprised if the DX won under those circumstances.
