LS Integra vs. 02 Vic
HAVEN'T raced yet!!! I was just wondering if you guys think that my car can take his? His car has 150,000 miles on it and needs new rings but still pulls hard as hell in third! Don't want to throw down the cash and lose! All he has is a J's racing intake and an Apexi muffler on the cat gutted stock exhaust. Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

i only say this because my good friend has a 94 auto LS and i beat him by about 3-4 car lengths in my 5 speed LX, good luck anyway when you to do race

Rep Power: 0 wait, doesnt the RS and the LS integras have different engines since they are different generations??? i think the LS's motors (nonvtec B18) puts out 140hp at the crank and the old RS or somethin was 120. not sure but it seems itll be pretty even between your vic and his LS since his weighs a little more than your civic.

Rep Power: 0 You should have a close race the stock ls integra is 140 horse and runs about mid to low 16s in the 1/4. with your mods you should be fine just consentrate on shifting and the road and not on him.

My friend has a 95 Teg SE (an LS with leather basically) and he will eat my alive. Now his is a 5 speed and mine is an auto (and i have rims and a body kit) and he ATE me. We both have short-ram intakes and full catback exhausts.
Granted I had one more person in the car and a couple lawn chairs in my trunk but still, he will win. Those LS engines are underated I think because he will take a GSR off the line.

Rep Power: 0 Taking someone else of the line means nothing to me. Yes they may have more torque but still, races are won because of top end. Of course he will eat you because you have a auto. You will not have the top end of a 5 speed 7th Gen.
I am saying that it won't be easy for sw388, but he should still win. It has been proven that with simple bolt ons, mod for mod, that the RS,LS integras are one beat behind the music when they tangle with the 7th Gen

well, we hung together until third and i pulled away from him! finished the race with him at my rear bumper! i think i broke the seal from my rim and tire though! the price you pay, i guess?!?...
