Run in with S2000
Well today coming home from work im going down a 2lane road and this S2000 comes up behind me... guy looks young and has a front lip on it.. so the road goes to 4 lane and he comes up beside me and i give him a thumbs up bc its a nice lookin S.. he gives me back a thumbs up..(must have seen the SC emblem) so then he downshifts so i follow and do the same.. he starts first and gets the jump to my front nose at his door.. from 60mph (3rd gear for me) all the way to 110mph(end of 4th gear for me) we are even right where we started.. i was suprised the whole time bc i thought he was going to pull.. and let me say an S with exhuast sounds sweet as heck.. we stopped at the light and talked for about 30secs then i had to make mine turn.. first thing he said "so that civic really is supercharged" hmm maybe i should take off the emblem

good story. i can't comment on whether or not what you experienced was normal because I have not raced an 03 SC'd Si.
I have raced an SC'd 2000 Si from a roll, and it's fairly close from a rolling stop until about 60mph then I just start to pull hard.

I agree sleeper would b the best, i think if ur takin off all the other emblems dont put a SC one on, although i can understand it would b sweet, maybe put it somewhere less noticable?
Nice run man
Have you Dynoed yet I heard the JRSC is good for a good 65-75 WHP. Awesome to hear that the egg can hang with the S. I agree with every body take off all the emblems and stickers. ive already takenoff my i-vtec stickers and the car looks alot more sleeker and sexier
as for the rear badges I'm still debating taking them off.

nice race spider, sounds like fun.
I had a encounter with a S2000 but its been bugging me if the guy knew what he was doin, maybe s2000man can answer.
I was on the highway by my house doin about 50-55, and i saw a what looked to be stock s2000 (no exhaust no loud intake noise). He looked in his rear view and from what it sounded like downshifted and gunned it. I said to myself "why the hell not" and downshifted too. I brought it down to 4th gear (about 5000rpm right in the "I" range) and took off behind him.
Surprisingly enough to me i stayed on his back bumper till about 110 when i shut down to take my exit. Now i have no idea if he didn't downshift to the right gear, or whatever so i was wondering if you (s2000man) have raced a RSX on the highway? I mean i know my car is pretty quick up in the revs but i don't think its s2000 quick up there.
