last night i beat this ,oh so tricked out neon, three times....It was one of those movie races, you know, he takes the lead and I come flyin passed him like I got nitrous or something. 3 times, folks.. I even blew a kiss to his girlfriend as they passed me at the light where I was turning. Guess he didn't have a HEMI!

duals do mean power in the SRT-4 but in a base neon, they only mean rice

the first time we raced, i wasn't aware that we were in a race...the second we were both rolling to the stop light...and the third i just plain out wooped that ***...nobody around here gets the concept of street racing( going out on a limb to say that street racing is dead), People just rev at you and think it's on or something. the only reason i came back on him is because he was the only one aware of the race. i just showed him that my cars not slow...

u sure about stock duals? lol, there's a neon that drives around my area with an ugly-*** bright green paintjob and lots of vinyl, he has a very obviously fake dual exhaust, its pretty funny looking. just curious though, how would our cars do against average neons? (not srt-4s, i know they'd win!)

the older R/T's have duals and i believe 150 HP stock(same with the ACR, but good luck finding one)

expresso had 150HP too and no dual (back in like '98 before r/t model)

but automatic version had only a 3 speed transmission. so sh!tty lol

The R/T weighs 6 more pounds then our civic, has 28+~ more horsepower, and we have a faster 1/4 mile time. Our is 16.2 Stock, theres is 16.3

well, if their weight is identical, and they have more hp, the reason we have a faster ET might be a gearing thing. for example. my buddy has a 1990 Beretta GTZ. they have a High Output Quad Four. They put out 180HP at the crank and weigh about the same as an EX coupe. I raced him a few times when i had my 01 EX coupe. Anyway, we have very equal racing skills. When we raced, every time, we were neck and neck, all the way through 3rd. Once in fourth, the power difference was more noticeable, and he started pulling away.

Anyway, thats how im rationalizing the Neon ordeal
