Another M3 bites it at our local track, Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, here in Oklahoma.
Last one (2002 M3 w/SMG) the guy hit the tire wall backwards and the car flipped over and back onto the tires. Noone was hurt thank goodness. That one was eventually totalled by insurance.
The latest victim, a lovely red M3.
And the in-car video... (let me try again)

As far as this wreck here's the scoop... the track was wet from early in the day, the bumpers (those red and white things) are massively slick when wet, as is the grass. You hit that and it's slide time. As far as we can tell, he hit it with one tire which lost grip.
Speed... that last turn he took is Turn 2, which is a very slow turn. I avg 20mph around it in my vic. As soon as you are around, you hit the gas and head thru the light chicane and up the hill. He was gassing it to get going on up the hill when he lost it.
I've attached a pic to show the track and where it happened.
It is a great track. I feel lucky to have it so close (30 min drive). And to be able to drive it for relatively cheaply. (Wrecks aside)
I've poasted these elsewhere on this site but here's links just the same:
