The part most folks are interested in is High Speed Touring. For that you need to be a COMMA member (membership forms on the site).
Essentially HST is a controlled non-racing type of environment, where you get 5 sessions of 15 minutes each for $75. There is no passing without the driver's permission and it's not actually racing as such. But if you feel a need for speed it is a good way to get it out.
To participate, you will need a car (no SUVs, vans, trucks, stationwagons) and you car will have to pass a inspection for road worthyness. You also need a helmet (loaners available), long sleeve shirt and pants, comfortable driving shoes.
If you fancy racing, you can participate in the COMMA racing events, requiring rollcage, fire extinguisher and fuel cut off switch.
The sessions are run thru the different groups who are part of COMMA, including HST, Legends, and COMMA open and closed wheel. So expect to spend most of the day out at the track.
If you have more questions, email or call the folks at Hallett and they will give you all of the details.
Hope this was helpful,
