Ok i dont agree with street racing, but i do mess around here and there.
I have beat cars that are supposed to be fast before...Lost more races then i won but i wasnt expecting this..

Today i was messing around racing against my friends friend 2001 (or 2000 or 2002) Grand prix. We did 2 runs, both runs we were even off the line, then he just pulled on me hard, and there was no way i could even keep up... What the heck is wrong...I know they are more powerful and ****, but i seriously wasnt expecting that to happen. But i guess **** happens. It just seemed like he had soooo much more power then i did. It was really wierd. I just thought id share that with you guys!

If I'm not mistaken, some (all?) Grand Prixs have V6s. If he had a manual and a V6, I'm not really suprised that he won. I can beat my friend's Sunfire V6, but thats only because its an automatic (a much lighter car and a stick can be a big advantage in short races).

The 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix:

Base Engine: 3.8l, 200hp v6

Opt. Engine: 3.8l, 260hp s'charged v6

Base curb weight: 3477

I have no clue what the 2001 specs are.

MangoEX should not be trusted
Those are the 2004 figures, the 2000 uses GMs tried and true 3100 V6 producing 180 HP. I drove one before, and they pull a HELL of a lot harder than our Civics.

I'm not tryin to hate but I cant believe you were surprised you lost. Reminds me of a guy who rolled on me in a 7th gen with IHEP and was surprised He got owned. oh well I like the civics and there are some fast ones out there but it does have way more power then you so with a decent driver willing to race you would def lose. nice try anyways!!!
