^^^^

you learned your lesson pretty harshly.
well ,as long as you didnt bitch about it and admitted your guilt.
screw those idiots who say they are glad for you getting all those bogus charges, the punishement should be what the crime is equal to, not because you own a civic (does that sentence make sense cuz i dont understand it ).
i support you

BUMP...

Well, for anyone who remembers my story...

I took everything off the car...
i stopped cruising, and pretty much driving in general on the weekends.

I got a Pre-trial Intervention:
1 year probation
60 hours community service
as long as i dont violate any of the terms of the probation, the case gets dismissed.

as for costs...
Ive dropped a few grand already.
1000 lawyer fees
200 impound
300 court costs
800 bail bonds
and i still have 500 left in probation costs

i think there is more...
my frist sergeant and I added it up at work one day, and it was like 2700 dollars.

damnit, that was an SF turbo kit i could have already.

As for the traffic violations:
Exhibition of excelleration
Contest of speed

my lawyer is still working to get them dropped
she seems optomistic.

but it might cost me another 300 bucks.

Hopefully, i get to keep the car *knock on wood*
Because i just ordered a greddy catback evo ii exhuast system.

If I was you I'd stay stock for awhile. last thing you need is another excuse to get pulled over.

i feel for that bro.....the first month i had my civic i got pulled over for some bullsh*t reason, (the story is far too long to post here) i remember i was 16 at the time, he pulled me out of my car on a busy street, cuffed me searched my backpack for a gun, shoved me in the back of this car, and as i watched my car get towed away, i was gettin hauled to jail....it was like a nightmare, i spent hours at the police station. it was one hell of a traumatizing experience, haven't like the police from my town since. my uncle is a lawyer though so he got me free easily cause it wasn't a valid reason anyway

good luck though dude

I remember back before I was in the military, I got 7 tickets in one stop. (Unsafe Start, Wreckless driving, Speed not prudent, Speed Contest, Failure to comply, running a stop sign, and restricted view). What happend was me, a z28, and a tacoma i think were all stoped at a light. I was going to a parking lot to chill will some people. So the Camero spins his tires a little at the light, we were going about 35 when blue lights out of nowhere. (speed limit =40) so i make my left turn, i didn't make a complete stop at the stop sign but i made sure it was clear, then i pull into the parking lot. I look back to see who he was going after and it was me.

So i was like **** . So I stoped my car, rolled down my windows etc. So He comes up and said "You know I should throw you in Jail for this" and i didn't know what to say. He took my keys, which i can understand if he thought i was trying to run. About 1 and a half later he comes back with the tickets.

I was like wtf is all this. So i talked to some of the people that were around and they said "He hit a guys trailer hitch following me into the parking lot." Which would kind of explain the delay.

Well $1100 in lawyer fees, I got it all dropped to running a stop sign. (4 points on my licence, 125-150 dollar ticket).

And for all those people saying " I would just pay the ticket blah blah blah" Your dumb! Thats right i said it. If you think for one second, you realize that The money you would spend on a lawyer would be alot less than paying the insurance that just went through the roof cause you didn't want to defend yourself.
