Bought a Stage 1 cam today. Dezod has some great prices on some things. I bought mine wholesale and it wasn't too much less than what dezod sells it to the public for. I'll get it in about a week

all depends on how much you wan tot spend. if you go stage 2 its useless unless you have EMS. so if you dont plan to go that big then just go stage 1. to run the stage 2 and take advantage of the extra rpm's it will allow for you NEED EMS. otherwise just go stage 1 becasue you get the same power increase as you would using the stage 2 with out EMS and save yourself the money for the valve springs and install. youll need to pull the head to do the stage 2 so you might as well have the head ported as well. that is another $800 on top of the $1500 for EMS, the $600 for cam and springs/retainers, and then you have dyno time and supporting mods. so to gain the 40-50whp the stage 2 MAY offer you need to drop about $4k.
for that price you may as well boost and get 200whp vs 150whp N/a

lol, you dont wanna summerize taking your engine apart.... basically remove the head, take the old cam out, replace springs and retainers and put new cam in, cluse up, go tune.
btw, any updates?

You do not have to remove the whole head to install a camshaft. I saw my guy do it and you only have to remove the rocker arms from the top.
