E-bay Seller Warning 04-05 civic fogs
Do not buy foglights from e-bay seller powerimport the wire harness that is provide does not work with our cars. The switch that came with the lights burned out as soon as I hooked it up and the only good thing was that the lights actually worked. But I had to do a major amount of work to get them to work and hardwire the piece of **** harness and then I had to buy a whole new switch also. So just be warned guys/gals!
I just burnt my tongue

hey robbie when u installed mine mine seems to work fine...i've had only 1 problem...the power connector doesnt connecto too well and sometimes the thing goes out...but if i jiggle it around and move it to a spot with better contact than it works fine...i think im gonna either hardwire it into the same power source or to the accessory wire in the ignition...the kit is crappy but it works for now heh
hi guys.
This is my first post here, so please excuse me for being a n00b.
Anyways.
I bought the powerimport lights a while ago and decided to install them now.
did all the wiring got thru the firewall plug the switch.
There's a 1 pin harness than needs to be connected to the power, do you know where the H... that thing goes?
Cheers and thanks for the help
PS: I've got a civic GLI 2005 (Australian version)

well.....like us, you bought some piece of **** fogs. If you plug it into where its supposed to go, the switch is going to stay on always....even when the key is off. Its because of a shitty harness. Youre best bet is to cut off the plug, and wire them to a switched 12v source like i did. just some advice....lol
found the 12v source on the fuse box.
still doesnt work.
the relay seems to be ok, could it be the switch?
I dont think the wiring they provide doesn't work, since powerimport has more than 10000 positive feedback.
could be a **** product and last 2 days, but it has to work *me thinks*
