About the selling products on 7thgen... I dont sell anything on this site... I havent advertised saying that I do still sell anything. People come to me, nothing wrong with that.

bottom line, you're using 7thgen directly and indirectly to sell products. and you were already warned about this once.

Okay, Im sure many of you had heard my troubles with impulse at the below link
http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=216983
well he refunded the money in question and we were still trying to exchange some fog lights. I gave up on the fog light idea so I asked him if he could refund $90 usd. He said okay. A few weeks went by and I pm'd him about the refund. He asked me today to remind him of how much. I pm him back only to find out he has been banned. So I read this thread and realize damn, hes probably not going to refund my money seeing how hes banned he may as well just run with my money.
To my surprse when I Returned this evening
Payment From ImportEntertainment Aug. 18, 2005 Completed Details $90.00 USD
Jays an honest guy, sometimes he sucks with replying to pm's but well, for me he refunded every cent he took from me.

as for me and Black03Civic, we're just gonna have to sit tight and see if we actually recieve our harnesses. both of us actually want our money back, but i figure Impulse will probably have a stroke before he refunds our money.
i'm not saying he's not an honest guy or anything, but he has a responsibility to carry through with his transactions in a timely manner. its funny how responsive he is when trying to make a sale, but totally cuts you off after you sent your payment to him. you have to remember he's running a business that deals with people's hard earned money. if he cant do it right, then maybe he shouldnt be doing it at all.

I've never had a problem with Jay, or his products, or the people I've referred to him. None of them have ever had a problem. I contacted him a while back about geting a group buy together for another site, but I couldn't get enough people that I figured it'd be worth it to him, so I just told them to go through his site(this was a few months ago in which he also stated to me directly that he's not a vendor on the site and to contact him on my own time by my own means, well, how else would I get his email or anything without going through this site? I don't know him personally, so I got the email link frmo here, but I never had any dealings related to a civic and never directly through this site.). Every one of them (6 total) all got their kits and were all perfect. And yes, he did have an accident. A loading ramp from a trailer practically broke his face (so to speak). So yes, that's true as well. There's a thread here that entails it, with pics. He had a crapload of stitches in his scalp. I'm sure he's working to get everything hashed out for you, as he says he's doing. And yes, I also read the details of Injen's ordeal with him, businesswise. I remember the aim/pm convos you had that were posted, and I don't blame him for not setting up a payment plan. Also, Falken, again, I'm not trying to defend anyone, but how can he help it if someone tells someone else about him, or his site? What's he supposed to do when someone contacts him? Tell them he's not at liberty to say? And how can he help it if people get his contat info from here? I wouldn't know his site, or how to contact him, but I did know that at one time he was a vendor on this site and I was wondering if he still sold them. Never once did I discuss actually buying them from him on here. He can't help it if people remember that he used to sell them and are curious. Regardless, you guys are entitled to his own opinion, and your own method of dealing with it. I know I've never had a problem, nor the people I know that've dealt with him.

10-4. Was just wondering, since he had no control over that. Also, since he's not a vendr, shouldn't his company's URL be removed from the thread title, and the first post?

nothing is wrong with Impulse. In my opinion his business ethics are straight. I have bought products from him in the past and all transactions were excellent. Product arrived when he said it would. I bought a set of headlights, directly from him...arrived when he said they would, and in excellent condition. Packaged very nicely. I bought a set of his used HIDs from him, once again...arrived when he said they would, and in excellent condition and as well packaged very nicely.
Now both of you bought products from Jay but he went through his supplier, which is called drop shipping. Where he doesn't even see the product. Product is being sent directly from supplier to your door step. If something is missing do not blame it on Jay. It is his supplier and talk it through with his supplier.
Put yourself in Jays shoes:
You have a sale on your, lets say, HID kit. but the HID kit is at your cousins house in a different state than you are. You call your cousin to send out the HID kit to this address. You would expect you cousin to send everything included in the HID kit but turns out he forgot some parts. Now the customer calls you and starts complaining, was it your fault that the product came with missing parts? You call your cousin and ask him to send out the part that is missing and he says "ok" and he never gets around to doing it...so you think that he has sent it out but the customer still has not recieved it...you see where im getting at. Jay is not a shady person, he loses money everytime his supplier fjcks up. I dont blame him for being frustrated.
