A high stall torque converter and a shift kit would help a lot, I know of a performance converter (JMO), I don't know about a shift kit though.
If you want to go fast, then this is really not the car for you (yet), especially an auto.
Only route is turbo, but be prepared to spend some dough...
But if you're looking for just simple mods, you're out of luck (so far...). Give it some time and there should be some better aftermarket support for our cars.
If you want to go N/A you could try getting a hold of the KMS intake....although it has yet to be proven.

here is the best option for going fast in our cars
BUY A DIFFERENT CAR. Search about this. Our cars are not made to go fast. You could buy a turbo, but that is going to set you back 3,000 or more dollars.

get a different car, even with a 3k turbo you would only put down enough HP to match a base stock RSX, the only people you would beat would be other 7th gens. not worth 3k IMO

Convert the car to a manual... Do a motor swap. With the money a lot of you put towards turbos you should put it towards a motor swap. Thats what im doing.
On a side note my friend from Pitt came to visit me the other day she has a 2002 EX Auto and I have a 2003 EX Manual.... I drove her car wow such a diffrence I was surprised (i only have an Injen CAI on my car as far as engine mods)
