I can't wait to see when this is done.
Since you are doing the 5-lug conversion and using everything from the RSX are your wheels gonna stick out like DC5@EM2's car????

his stuck out cause he was sent the wrong offset, and he had to use spacers to clear the brembo calipers. I don't have the brembo's so i won't have offset issues.

red valve cover is off the JDM K20a. My car is a Type S not a Type R, but i can buy the cover for 200 bucks, so it will be red soon enough

hey, dont forget to get the door locks also. i dont think youll want to have 2 sets of keys to start your car and to open your doors (i know you have the keyless thing, but the trunk and all that crap)...anyways, just something to consider and not forget.
Looks like its gonna be fun. I ll have to talk to him when i get the swap done. That is an awesome price. Alos where did you get the type r shift boot. Im looking to getting one. Was it hard to install also.

As for the Type R boot, I got it from tornactive.com, it wasn't fun to put in but it looks good when its done, i did alot of toying with it before i got it right.

good luck on your swap!
I have my motor sitting at my house too...its going in at the end of June...money issues.
Im keeping the 4 lug, no rear brakes...going total sleeper. Im doin the CAI too, but i can understand why you dont want to.
Do you know how much its going to be to have the car flashed at acura? You arent waiting for the wire harness either huh from HASport? Thats another reason why i am waiting...that will make the swap a lot easier.
Anyways, gotta go...good luck, we should race after i do my swaplike in July or something.
Later~

actually the ECU off the RSX has to be flashed by Honda to work with the honda key.
update: I went Acura today to get a new key (the car didn't have a key when i got it),and they told me i need the car there, which is a problem for obvious reasons. My mechanic says he might have a idea how to bypass the immobiliser, so i'm gonna go get a unflashed key from acura and hopefully have the pig breathing tomarrow so we can start ripping it out.

let me know if he figures a way out on how to bypass that...if not, you can buy the mugen ECU which bypasses the imobilizer, and it only costs $1000+shipping+tax.
Keep my updated on that.
Thanks
