New 2K3 Civic - need suggestions

Ok, so I have been wanting a Civic ever since I got my license 4 years ago and FINALLY got one. Yay! Anyway, I'm a total newbie and am looking for advice as far as what performance mods I should do first and that sort of thing. Anything to help me out would be great. Thanks!

Performance?

Intake
Exhaust
Header

A total gain of like .098 HP. Nah, jk, but the gain is minimal.

For the most bang for your buck, a nitrous setup would be best. Or you could dish out 3 g's and do a K20 swap or a custom turbo.

Alright, I'm having a hard time finding parts for an 03 Civic LX because it's an AT. All the intakes I've looked at for 03 DX/LX are manual only.

Get the K&N FIPK intake. It's the best one in my opinion. I have an EX auto, not much difference. It will still fit.

Don't bother with headers, they're worthless for our cars. And if you want performance, turbo/RSX-S swap are your only options. The D17 engine doesn't take mods well.

Go for looks, it's a really good car in that aspect.

yeah i agree with the k&n fipk, it fits lx autos, at least the 01's. gain is around 4 hp. as far as exhaust i believe tanabe has a cat back system that fits the 7gen civic lx. but im not sure if the 03 is any different.

Yeah, I've only had the car for a month now and have been working on apperance. So far I've done a carbon fiber dash kit, kaminari ktr2 wing and it's getting lowered next week. The wheels I want go on sale next month, so I'm waiting on those and I'm trying to find a body kit that I like.

03 here, magnaflow catback, they have one for the 03's, piaa bulbs, revo ss w/bushings and upgrade kit, apr wing, tyc tails, motegi mr7 rims w/toyo proxies fzr, 6% and 13% tint, aem cai coming this week, springs and camber kits in my closet waiting to be put on, and its only been 4 monthes, haha

edit: i'd say definitely get tint first, always go for looks first, if u got a warranty like me, and like get rims if u can after

1. tint
2. rims and lowered
3. i/h/e
4. stereo to enjoy ur car
