It's been going on for a good 6 months if not more, I'm not gonna say its not possible but it is a bit overdun and he always saying in 2 weeks or i'll meet up with someone and never does? Good for him if it's true but he has made himself look like a BS'er none the less.
yeah, i mean, look guys, i've read more about him than you think. there are gaps all over his threads. there are also physical impossibilities. one thing i remember is running a motor with an extremely high compression ratio (14 or even 15:1) with the aid of 200 shot nitrous. come on guys can we say, "lean, overheating if running, detonation?" the only way a person can run an engine like that is if they, lets say, have 300+ octane gas in their tank. man, i dont even think race gas will cut it. maybe you can do it if you are running on pure methanol mixed with butane or pure octane boosters. shieet i dont even know how much octane is in those things so i guess i will have to quit ranting about this subject.

what bugs me is how everyone just pounces on him and starts flaming like what hes doing is gonna determine the outcome of the world.
Yo, if this is all true and you are doing all this than all the power to you . I hope it works out. I have no tech abilities or anything so i cant tell if what you are saying is bs or not. HOWEVER I FULLY, 100%, DO NOT BELIEVE YOU ARE PULLING 300+ HP. i'll give you benefit of the doubt and assume you were just being hyped and blowing up the figures. so good luck with all of what you are doing.

Just don't back down or anything like you have done in the past...that's the main reason most people here don't believe you. Maybe it would be smarter to not post about future projects and just wait until you've done the mods and have timeslips and pics to back it up then people wouldn't flame you for bs'ing.

Rep Power: 316 I dunno anything about engine stuff so I can't point out a BS either. But I do know that a fake dyno can probably be made very easily. So even if you get a dyno up on here, people would still be calling it BS. The only way you could officially prove people wrong is if you brought it to the track or if you did a dyno right in front of some of your doubters. I know you're a busy guy, as all of us are, but take some time out of your life to meet some members from the site, then you will have enough backing to prove all the doubters wrong.

UNTIL I told him that even on methanol, you'd never get near 14:1 without detonation. Race cars that run that high have maintenance done ALL THE TIME because of that. Once you go beyond 13.5:1 or so, you'll have a nearly impossible time preventing some detonation even on race gas or methanol. Then suddenly the compression he was going to run magically went down.

In case you didn't realize what that is, it's the glowing button at the top. Even if she came in april, she can use the magical "search" button to look at all his previous posts. Which she obviously did.

I gaurantee among the people you talk to on this site, that some of them had their cars bought for them. IMO, i think someone should pay for their own vehicle, but that doesn't mean they should be ridiculed if they didn't. She doesn't act like a spoiled brat, so don't treat her like one.

damn black99, go to injen.com and get u one of those heat sheilds, cuz you'll need it more than any intake ever would. and good luck with that whole DOHC ecu on a SOHC thing, you should get/rent a video camera and make a vid and post it when your done. then maybe, just maybe some of them will beleive you. but then they might say that it was all done with special effects. well, cant please everyone, just yourself (and your gf/bf )

Rep Power: 330 I believe that the intake swap is possible if you have access to a machine shop, but I just cant see the ECU swap ever working? Maybe A JDM SOHC ecu, like one out of a zc.
And that 350 hp goal is kinda steep for that engine.
