hey i am back with new projects!
hey look who is back, i have the car running and it has been good thro out the month. everyhting has broken in fine and the motor is ready to be taken to the next step. i now have the motor de-stroked to a 1.6, resleeved, rods,pistons, head is done with cam and ported polished. and other stuff u know... so now i believe the car is running at a low 15 to somewhere in the high 14's.
now.... i am at it again.. this is what is happening in the next 2 weeks.
ripping out the stock wireingharness and jet ecu. installing a 2000 dohc si ecu and harness. with a type r intake manifold and throtle body. gsr full fuel system. including pump and RETURN line. . on top of all that teh direct port nitrous system, the new apexi vafc(the one with the knock sensor), and a controler for my nitrous.. i forget what its called but it regulates your big shot of juice so u get traction. only letting certain %'s of nitrous into the motor at a specific rpm. i am switching our dis-4 ignition system to a distributer set up with a msd or a better company. i has not had good experiances with msd systems. they basicly sux and malfunction. it wouldnt be good to be under boost and have ur igniton fail.BOOOM haha but all this should be done within the next 2 weeks. i will be back with a dyno and hopefully if i can get to the track a time slip.
i am excited to get this done i think it will be safe to say i ma the only on in the entie world that is running a dohc ecu and harness on there sohc. and if u ask y i have decided to do all this (swaping ecu's) it is because i have found that inorder to acomplish my 350 plus hp goal i need to ditch the fuel system. if u try and and just put a return line in and new pump. your stock ecu will not know what is happening and.... well it just wont work . haha it is very hard to explain i dont feel like ti but if u wanna know i will tell u . the dohc will have a very agressive fuel and spark curve with a 8200 red line. i was planing on a stand alone with this car but aem has not released theres yet and its not really worth it for me this will work fine and once i get this running good i will just get the ecu reflashed to rev out to 10,500 rpm.

why wouldnt be for real. i ahve been working on this motor since thanksgiving!. my goal is to spank on the hondaworks k20 swap for about 1/2 the money. hahaha and to show all the skeptics that 350 plus hp can be produced by a 1.6 sohc

a good amount but thats only cause i got the good parts(arias piston, arp hardware, but u can do it for cheaper) most the money was used to fabricate custom parts

You know what? Your dohc ECU isn't gonna know what is happening and... well it just wont work.
The ECU is expecting to be controlling the VTEC solenoid for both intake AND exhaust valves (hence the 2 seperate cams). Oh, but wait... an SOHC civic only has a VTEC solenoid fire for the intake side (since there is only one cam, and this is how honda has it set up). So how the hell do you expect that to work? Not to mention the load of other reasons this won't work.
It's like trying to transplant a kidney into someone's head and wondering why their new "brain" won't function.

there is no reason for tec on teh exhaust side. if u buy some sets of cams they dont use the exhaust vtec and it can be eliminated. this will work and it will be very fast. just watch

can i ask y u think this is now bullshit have i ever backed down on my word? i first said i was building this bottom end and u all didnt believe it and i have proved it and now this is in the final steps and u dont believe it again. haha i am not here to find out if u think it will work or not, thats not why i post on here i am just stateing the fact that i am doing this and it will be sick and to look foward to it. in about 2 weeks. whether u internet guys are telling me its bullshit or not its happening and i will have it done soon.

whats with the type r intake manifold??!?!?!?!?! because i KNOW that that doesnt fit.... even if its the k20 manifold... it just doesnt fit.... unless u got one with type r stickers....

well wehn it dosent wokr i will let u know but i cant wait to show u all up. what it runs in like 2 weeks i will show u the dyno results and that it works. the type r intake manifold will bolt right on as long as u make a new bolt pattern plate! all it take is a little creativity. why havent u came over and checked it out i am so close let me know u can see it for your self! and as to the goin to georgia meet... well thats a really long drive that i wasnt planning on making by my self. i would have gone but the time was not right . no one wanted to go down with me and i ahve other things goin on in my life that to go to georgia to prove myself to people i dont know. call me up send me a pm well meet up around pa. somewhere.

looks like you live around drexel hill, camden, cherry hill, and chester. Just SW of philly or in a SW suburb of philly. at least somewhere around there.
