Just got 02 civic.....had a hooked up euro sunfire...I'm glad to be here

Hey guys, I just would like to say that I'm very excited to be a member here as I always wanted a import.

I have a tricked out pontiac sunfire as well.....I have pics I'll post later on.

I'm not a newbie to forums as I wont ask questions that could of been easily found on a search engine so I feel I can bring valuable information to everyone from painting interiors of cars to how to maintain a car.

I love how smooth the civic drives......its incredible. My first mod right now is an exhaust.....the civic is too quiet for me. My question is this:

I have a Thermal R&D exhaust on my sunfire..........too quiet! I wish I looked more into it before I bought it but oh well. I was thinking of a flowmaster for my sunfire as there isnt too much for sunfires but for the civic I think a flowmaster is too cheap. I'm thinking of a Apexi N1 or a Tanabe exhaust......dont know yet. I want something loud...not raspy....but deep as you may read this all the time.

Keep in mind I wont be racing.....its a daily driver so a cat back exhaust may not be needed for my civic????? Maybe just a muffler and upgrade the pipes to whatever size ya'll recommend.

I'll be changing out the oil as well......Mobil oil........but since I live in Texas probably a 10w30 grade. Well write back and tell me what everyone thinks.

You may be interested in the Magnaflow group buy that is going on in the "group buy" section of the forum. It's a good setup, lifetime warranty, and you really can't beat the price. Welcome to the forum.

yep if the group buy is still up, i recommend the magnaflow, not too ricey and good looks, plus its hard to beat the $300 dollar deal, and no shipping charges. and i like the sound, seems that my friends do also, that plus aem cai, and your set for the sound part. maybe a header but i havent got that yet, waiting for something worth buying.
