Hey, Im New, Came here for help on my civic...
First like to say hi to everyone! My name is Jason (Jay) Iam the CEO/Webmaster of, Import Entertainment. I Just got a 2002 Civic EX Coupe Automatic, wit 14 miles on it (Brand New), And im currently looking for ways on how i can get it looking really nice. Seeing how the car is automatic i dont really feel that i should do engine "work"... So, Im going more for an exterior angle first. The worst part about it all is that i live in NY, Long Island. Where i live we've got the holes, and the speed bumps, so im really scared to get a bodykit for the car. I talked to a lot of people, and they said not to worry about it but, then again they are in CA . Here is what i was thinking of doing to my car first... (Not in any order)
Kaminari Bodykit
Tail Lights: Altezza Tail Lamp Carbon Fiber
Headlight: Projector Lamp Halo Chrome/Clear
Fender Set: Z3 Style
17 or 18 Rims =\
and the Eye Lid thing...
Total: Around $2k
This will be my first car that im gonna modify, and im hoping all the end results will be great! I was wondering if you guys can help me out with chosing a kit that will allow me to go around driving with the bumps n all that
. Also, seeing how its a 2002 model there arent a lot of products out, so if you guys know of anything cool looking let me know!

Those mods are pretty good mods but instead of altezzas maybe you should get EDM tails or maybe those red TYC ones jagular style or sumthing. If you have the money I would say get 18's I regret buying 17's but that's just me. Get urethane if there a lot of bumps and stuff
.
Do you guys think Angel eyes are bad? I looked at basically every thread about em, and i noticed they all had probs
Im goin for a urethane kit, Im just afraid of getting it all banged up you know? I really like, mrdan4548's car, Its very clean looking. I currently have the Shoreline Mist Metallic color. Im just waiting to get a kit, and then to paint the car black... I think that would be a cooler color . As i was surfin the members cars I also noticed JDub's Headlight, think that looks cool, heh. Thnx! for the complament Gotti! Through the site im getting some nice discounts n stuff, plus meeting really cool people like you guys! Im gonna do my best to hookup my car to fit in! If you guys have AOL/AIM, my screen name is JaYB024, If you need some stuff or w/e ill try and help you out! But then, you guys know mostly everything

I have the angel eye projectors and I am always getting compliments on them. I havn't seen another honda around here with them. Just don't get really high wattage bulbs for the low beams cuz they'll burn out in a week. I just have some generic hyper whites to give it the white appearance. I wouldn't get altezza's though. Just keep the factory tails on or either get the EDM ones. You can tell the EDM tails are definatly different. It seems like too many people are putting altezzas on their cars. But, the kaminair kit is a must. It adds a new look to the car, but still keeps it looking clean.
I sure wish my car was newer

Hmm... sounds like you've got the idea...
I would start out with rims and a drop. If you're worried about potholes, then maybe on 1.5". For rims, you could easily spend $2,000 on metal and rubber. So allow yourself some more money if you can. 18s look great, but its hard to get substantial tires with that. Potholes + 35 series tires =
. I think 215/45/17 looks great, but I may be biased. Altezzas have almost gotten too played out. But if you do go for new lighting, go for the brand TYC. They make the best looking light stuff. They're projector headlights look awesome, but eyelids look good too. (big cost difference.) Get your kit and fenders all at the same time, maybe the shop will give you a break in price on painting. Be prepared to get a lot of chips on your front bumper if your roads are bad like mine. I'd say to get your windows tinted. Its one of the few things that looks really good, doesn't cost much, and actually has a function.
Merry modding!
