It must have happened Sunday Night/Monday morning cuz when I got presents out of my trunk Sunday Night I must have forgotten to lock my doors So I'm kicking myself in the *** for this one.

Monday I went to start my car & unlocked it with my remote so I had no idea at that point whether or not the doors were locked. I sat in my seat & noticed that the faceplate for my hu was missing & couldn't remember if I had taken it off. So I started my car & noticed that it was in gear & I hadn't left it in gear, I looked in the glove box to check if the case for my faceplate was there (which is where I keep the case if I leave the face on my hu) and it was, then I looked up in my rear view mirror and practically **** my pants when I saw my back seat was laying open with all my wires stretched out from my trunk. So I ran into the house (leaving a trail of **** behind me) and called the police. Once the officer came to look at my car, I realized that they had also taken my radar detector [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG].

Luckily, there was no force entry, and they didn't try to tear my dash apart to get the rest of the hu, but the retards broke my back seat (it won't latch into place) instead of using the trunk release to get my box, subs & amp. I can't claim this on my insurance since I've already had 2 accidents that weren't my fault within the past 3 months & this is the third thing now that's happened to me. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] And I was already planning on getting an alarm for xmas.

So I just ordered the Clarion DXZ825. I also know someone who works for polk & he can probably hook me up with a pair of subs for $100. I'll just have to wait until after xmas before I can get a new amp & box.

always hit your stock remote twice!!!!! to lock it!, and you will hear the beep!...thats how i used to know it was locked!

man that really blows. where do you leave your car? cause i mean sometimes vandals pic cars that usually stick out. I never bump my music in my neighborhood, never. i have never left my face plate in my car overnight. and just to think, i live in apartment with cameras in the garage, and i still dont trust anyone to steal my ****. I am sorry this had to happen to you bro. why not tell insurance? i guess it's better off cause they may jack up your payments, if they havent already from the previous accidents. i hope you can get enough dough to replace all of this things that are missing and fncked up. sorry man. i think instead of ordering new stereo stuff for your car you should invest in a good alarm so next time they wont have it so easy and you might be able to catch these punks. hope everything works out for you man

The irony is that I'm getting an alarm for xmas.

I live in a townhouse. I was parked in between 2 cars with a police car 2 spaces over and that didn't stop them. Like I said, it's my fault because I obviously left my door unlocked & that's why they didn't bother anyone else's car.

that suxs (_|_)... same thing happened to me this summer, i forgot to turn my alarm on cause i was too busy talking on the phone with my bf til 3 am, and next morning my uncle came and woke up me and my cousin at about 6 n was like Chase (cousin), your truck got broken into and they took your amps n radio, i was like omg hahah, then when the cop left, i noticed my door was open... [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] took my radio ,system, even most of the wires!! and whats the chances the one night i forget to lock it up that that would happen?!
